Well today I would like to talk about the xbox 360 since I read and heard from a friend, that the xbox 360 is a lemon.

I know for you people owning a xbox 360 you may feel upset and maybe even angry at what I say about the system but some of you may even back me up on this since you have had the experience of getting your xbox 360 fixed or had to purchase a brand new one.

Just last month (beginning of March) I had read an article on yahoo saying that 16% of all xbox 360 where defective. Like most of you I found that hard to believe but I also trust yahoo for their news updates.

About 1 week after my friend’s xbox 360 died on him. My friend had is xbox 360 for almost 2 years. I know some of you may say well that’s normal but I would disagree. If you look at your old Nintendo, SNES, ps1, ps2 etc…you will notice that they may have slight problems if you would try t load a game but you could still use the systems by blowing the dust out and they are more than 2 years old!

As for myself I own a Nintendo Wii and like it. I don’t play games that much. I may play a game like once a week if even that. But when I do play I want a reliable system.

If you own a xbox 360, your system dies and the system warranty is gone (after 90 days I believe) do like my friend and call the xbox number. I don’t have the number but it should be in your manual. My friend was told that it would cost him $99 to fix his xbox or they yould send him a refurbish one with a 1 year warranty. As of today my friend is still waiting to receive his xbox 360 in working condition.

If you don’t own an xbox 360 then you should avoid buying it unless you don’t mind getting it repaired when it breaks down.
